I am a PhD candidate at the School of Mathematics and Statistics at UNSW Sydney (commenced 2025). My PhD is supervised by Associate Professor Jan Zika, Professor Lisa Alexander, and Professor Sarah Perkins-Kirkpatrick.
My current project focuses on changes in heatwaves and heat extremes globally following the cessation of anthropogenic carbon emissions (“post net-zero”) in Earth System Models, and the physical drivers of these changes. Through my work, I hope to contribute to an understanding of the nature and impacts of post net-zero climate change.
I am also interested in the utility of simplified climate models in capturing the behaviour of post net-zero heat extremes.
